We reply within two business days. Telling us your iPhone model and iOS version makes it much faster.
Almost always framing. Prop the phone against something a few feet away so your whole body is in shot, and check the light is in front of you rather than behind. If you are too close, the app now tells you so on the counter screen. Push-ups and squats are counted by the camera; walking is counted by the pedometer and needs no camera at all.
Blocking needs Screen Time permission and at least one app selected. Open Settings inside Ransom and check Screen Time access is on and Apps with Rex lists the apps you expect. If permission was refused, grant it in iOS Settings under Screen Time.
The bank resets every day. Minutes you earn are yours until midnight and then the deal starts fresh. This is deliberate: a balance that carried over would let one keen week fund a month of scrolling.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose Ransom, and cancel there. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are requested from Apple.
Settings inside the app, then Erase all data. That clears your profile, history and progress. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore it, because your data never leaves your phone.
No. The app makes no network requests at all. Camera frames are processed live on your device and never recorded or uploaded, and your screen-time figures stay on your phone. See the Privacy Policy.
Not during a run, and that is the point of committing to one. You can always make it harder, and when the run ends you can set whatever you like.
